Danielle Nava-Mijares, after a 25 year career in the non-profit sector, started her consulting firm, Danielle Nava Consulting. In her earlier career, she served in program and executive management positions in local, state and national levels of the non-profit arena.
Danielle’s work is specialized in the area of diversity and inclusion and anti-bias education. She designs and facilitated development trainings, workshops and coaching for organizations, businesses and communities to maximize the skills and talents of a diverse workforce to develop more healthy, inclusive workplaces.
She is most passionate about working with women, especially women of color through coaching to support their personal and professional development using vision, clarity and intention setting practices and helping them to develop their non-verbal advantage in business.
Danielle brings expertise in anti-bias education, diversity and human relations, transformational leadership, conflict transformation, organizational development and non-verbal communication. She is a certified both as a Conflict Mediator and Body Language trainer.
She is a highly skilled facilitator and trainer and a conference presenter at the local and national level.
She holds Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University and is a lecturer at California State University at Fullerton in the Department of Social Work. She lives in Orange County with her husband and son, is an avid community volunteer, ambitious reader and iced tea drinker.
